Annual Conference
Annual Conference: Braving the New World

March 23, 2018

For the first time, PRSA Georgia is combining its two marquee events, the Annual Conference and Real World, to bring professionals and students together for a full day of cutting-edge educational sessions, professional development, top-notch networking and cross-generational perspective on the public relations field during this time of unprecedented change. With tracks for mid-level to seasoned professionals, young professionals and PR students ready to jumpstart their careers, you won’t want to miss the 2018 PRSA Georgia Annual Conference: Braving the New World.

Conference Overview:

Following the joint networking breakfast and inspirational morning keynote, the professionals and students will head to breakout sessions geared toward advancing their specific career goals. All attendees will reconvene for the keynote luncheon and more networking opportunities before more focused-tracks and activities in the afternoon.

Professional track sessions will focus on how the digital age continues to change our culture, the way companies communicate and how the PR role is defined. Attendees will walk away with valuable perspectives and effective strategies to implement immediately. Just as with any PRSA event, there will be plenty of networking. With the addition of students and young professionals, there’s also an opportunity to meet and recruit your team’s next PR rock star. Professionals register here.

Student sessions will provide timely information and advice from PR professionals to complement lessons learned in the classroom, offering a glimpse into the “real world.” In addition to the networking opportunities throughout the day, students can get a leg-up in the hunt for internships and full-time jobs at the Career Fair and Networking Roundtables (be sure to bring your resume!). Students register here.

Thank you to the sponsors who are making this day of networking and learning possible.
